anyone's child still not walking?

feeling a bit down bc I keep thinking she will start soon. about 1 month ago she started standing unaided for few sec. But it's always been for a few,seconds and not getting longer.  for those who wall, was standing unaided continuously something that progressed over time or did it happen once they stood unaided. we've been at pt, but I think she's not really sure what to do anymore

Have you tried a walker toy? Our daughter loved hers and I think it helped. If I read that correctly it sounds like you have her in PT? I'm sure that will help too. You're doing a good job and those therapists know what they're doing. My cousins youngest has Down syndrome and he works with a physical therapist. He's 3 months older than my daughter and he's crawling on his own and starting to stand with assistance and doing great. Your little one will get there, she might just need a little extra help. No harm in that :)

mine has just started isn't confident about it at all. will walk with one finger and climbs like crazy walls with walker toys... just waiting up to 8 steps randomly

My little boy isn’t walking yet either 🙄
His doctor thinks he’s just lazy. 
He will walk around with his walkers, scale everything and he’ll walk with me if I hold his hand but nothing on his own 🙄

My daughter was not interested in walking at all no matter how much we offered our hands or bribed her until about 14 months. In the end her Grandpa bought her a walking push type toy and she used it maybe a couple times before it clicked. After that she was off running maybe a week later. I'm not sure whether the toy did it for her or if she just decided she was ready. Your baby will get there soon enough!

My son has liked to push things around the room since like 6 months. I think he could’ve walked sooner than he did, but it took him maybe 5 more months before he gained confidence to do it on his own.  That said, it was the pushing that helped him more than standing. He didn’t care to stand. I’ve heard from lots of other moms that one day their baby decided to take a step and just started walking one day. I think it’s still quite normal to not be walking yet at this age. They all progress at their own pace.

I bet it’ll happen soon and quickly. Our LO seemed to be taking her sweet sweet time and the same day she took her first few steps, by the end of that day she was steadily walking really far. You’re doing great mama hang in there!

Is your baby standing up to things? If he can stand, walking isn’t too far behind. I believe as long as they are starting to walk by 18 months it’s still within the normal range. Try encouraging him, but even with that he will walk when he’s ready ❤️

My baby didn’t walk til he was 16 months, our doctor said not to worry unless he wasn’t walking at 18 months

how many months is your little one? my niece didn't start walking till she was 17 months and a few friends and kids iv worked with same.
