I didn’t tell my mom at first until she asked me when she was a little tipsy and I couldn’t lie to her so I said yes and started crying thinking I was going to get in trouble 😂

I had sex for the first time at my ex’s house, and I didn’t have to tell my mom because I was 19 and of age to do stuff on my own (doctor stuff and the pill), but she found out because I had awful symptoms from seasonique (worst month-long experience of my life) and I was freaking out and she brought me to a hospital.  She was glad I waited until I was in a relationship and in college, but was mainly concerned that I had a pill that worked for me and that I wasn’t going to get pregnant so young (she was 22 with four kids and didn’t want that to happen to me and my sisters).

It happened in my house lol. My mom was home. I went out with my friends right after and when I came back, she looked at me and said “So...did you have sex?” 😂 She was cool about it. I was 17, already on the pill and I was in love. She met him and they got along well.
