Any positive pitocin birth stories??

Question

Anyone have a positive birth story from being induced? I may or may not have to be induced depending on my BP the next couple weeks and pretty much all I've heard is horror stories about pitocin labor so I'm really hoping baby girl will just come on her own.. But I was hoping someone could give me a positive induction experience to help balance out the flood of negative ones I've read.

I’ve been induced twice with pitocin and I’m being induced with my third one also. I don’t have a horror story, but I’ve never experienced anything else either. My first two kids came within 12 hours of being induced. I had epidural both times because the contractions are a lot worse, but other than that it was pretty great!

I personally had a negative experience with pitocin, but my best friend had a very smooth labor with it. She was induced at 41 weeks and given pitocin right away to "move things along". They started pitocin at 7pm and her son was born by 11 that same night. Her labor lasted 4 hours, she did it naturally and everyone was healthy at the end.

I’ve had pitocin in 3 of my 4 pregnancies and currently pregnant with my 4th. Let me just say that it sped things up for me. My labors were always very fast and I have huge babies few pushes and not very long labor

I was induced with pictocin after my water broke at 37weeks +1day but my contractions wouldn't start on their own. It wasn't too bad. I got an epidural around 4cm, as my contractions started suddenly at a super strong consistency after 5 hours without feeling anything (because I was on the highest pictocin dose allowable), but other than that it was actually pretty awesome. I joked with the nurses, watched some TV, got to take some pictures. :) My labor was pretty great. I got hooked up to the pictocin around 11:30AM on a Thursday, and my son was born at 1:59AM on Friday morning. :)

I was induced with pitocin at 37 weeks due to low fluid. It was fine! Got an iv at 1pm, was already dilated to a four, so that was helpful. Walked around and stuff but only had progressed to a 5 by 9pm. My midwife broke my water at 9:30. Things moved very quickly after that! I was ready to push by 12:30 and had my daughter in my arms by 1:30. I got the epidural right around midnight but this time I would get it much sooner than that! Good luck mama! It’ll be great!
