How often and what time of day do you feed solids?

My husband gets home between 6:30-7:30 every night, so on a good night we’ll feed our son solids while we’re eating at the table together, but usually I have to feed him when I’m alone during the day because by the time my husband gets home, locks up the chickens, takes the trash out, showers, etc it’s already after 8pm and time for baby to go to sleep.
I’m just curious, for those of you who have started solids, do you feed them every day or do you skip days sometimes? Do you do it once, twice, or three times a day? What time do you feed your baby solids?

I do two solids meals a day but not very much food each time, really just to get her in practice of swallowing foods and eating from a spoon. Usually around 8-9 after she nurses in the morning and again around 5-6 during dinner when I’m feeding my 2 year old. They say food before one is “just for fun”, so I always make sure she nurses first to get her main nutrition.

We give my son lunch around 11:30-12, then dinner around 6:15-6:30.

We’ve only introduced oatmeal. We do breast when he wakes up at 7 and he usually has oatmeal before 8am. He then has some more around 5pm when he is up from his last nap (breast about an hour later).

My son gets a bottle in the mornings then after his morning nap I'll feed him baby food and then the rest of it right before bath time and after that I'll give him a bottle to fall asleep with

I like to do it mid day. But she’s 6 months and we hardly give her food. We are working with it very slow. It may only be 2-3 foods in a week which seems to be ok with her. I plan to bump it up to once a day everyday when she’s 7 months

I feed him cereal when we wake up in the morning, lunch (usually fruit) at about 1 and dinner(vegetable) around 5:30. Sometimes we try to wait for my husband to get home for dinner, but most of the time he gets home too late.
