Have you drank energy drinks like Redbull during your pregnancy? If so did it affect the baby after birth?

Women used to smoke and drink while pregnant. I wouldn’t recommend drinking energy drinks all the time because of the caffeine but remember...a little something here and there isn’t going to hurt baby.

I don't drink redbull, I drink monster. I specifically asked the doc what exactly is wrong with drinking energy drinks. she said it depends on the drink since they all have different ingredients. the main concern is the caffeine of course, but apparently some drinks contain herbs that may be dangerous during pregnancy. she looked up monster, since that's specifically what I asked about and said it's fine, just to watch the caffeine. one can has about 160mg and they don't recommend more then 200mg a day, meaning if I drink a monster, I'm pretty much sticking to water the rest of the day. I'd say look up how each of the ingredients react during pregnancy and go from there.

I mean, when I first was pregnant, I was still working. I’d have a cup of coffee every morning on my way to work. I was up at 4am so i needed it. Then I started having the morning sickness and had to quit my job it got so bad. My baby wasn’t too fond of hot coffee afterwards. But I’d have a frappe every now and then. As for red bull, I wouldn’t drink it

Being a mom of 4 kids work fulltime and 38 years old. My energy level drops mid day so I drink one 12oz can for a pick me up.

I personally didn't but i have a friend who drank the big can of red bulls literally every morning until her husband made her stop and her son is perfectly fine and is almost two now but honestly that's something to discuss with your doctor.
