Is this to straight forward (hpv)?

Yesterday I told my bf that I have hpv and he didn’t take it very well. I gave him 24 hours of no communication. When I didn’t hear from him I made it very clear I still wanted to be with him and that he needed to figure out if he loves me or if he can’t get passed this he needs to tell me he wants to break up. ( even though I believe he gave it to me but I’m giving him the befit of the doubt cause I do love him)
