Depends - I had an abusive ex that I think wouldn't have hurt his own children but it's always a possibility so I'd say court supervised visitation in his case,  but not sure your situation

Don't subject your child to potential abuse. He doesn't deserve a relationship with his kid if all he does is hurt and abuse you.

He has a right to know that the woman has his child. Hopefully there’s a written record of the abuse that could help attain full custody, but it should still go through to courts because if he finds out later, the courts will probably not side with the mother after she has intentionally alienated the child from the father.

Hell no. If he's just an asshole, fine. But you should never want an abuser to be part of your child's life. His sperm does not give him the right to see his child if he's abusive.

Still stay broken up but he still has the right to be involved in his child's life...was he emotionally or physically abusive? Either way as omg as he's not hurting your child or you while pregnant he has every right to be in his child's life weather that's being supervised or even you bringing someone else with you while you have your appointments as well

No. Even if he doesn’t abuse your kid what happens if he continues hurting you? Children aren't stupid, they’ll be a time when they find out what he did to you.

unfortunately if he wants to be involved it won't really be up to you to decide because the courts will decide everything for you which can be SUPER frustrating. But even terrible and abusive parents still generally get rights, so he will probably still get visitation if he fights for it. Best of luck to you!!
