Sex on the first date

Hey I’m 26 years old and I’ve never had sex. I met a guy last night at my friend’s baby shower (who happens to be her cousin!) we hit it off immediately and today were gonna go on a first date. I do want to have sex but I’m not sure if it’s ok to do it on a first date. I feel like I want to have the experience but having sex scared me, but meeting this guy something happened that made me makes me want to have sex with him. I’ve never felt this way with any other guy that I’ve dated. Is it ok to have sex on the first date?
