My daughter is 2 and she isn’t talking quite yet, she babbles like crazy now. She didn’t before, she was actually really quite. She knows words like mama, dada, ball, catch, cat, dog, milk, bite, and a few more... but she isn’t putting things into sentences..

So when i took her for her 2 year check up, the pediatrician was in the room not even 10 minutes and stated he thinks she is autistic because of the way she was acting and how she isn’t speaking yet. Of course i was crushed! But i got to thinking my daughter acts TOTALLY different at the dr than at home or in other public places.

She is up to standards developmentally as far as listening to directions, knowing where to find things and to put them back.. and so on.. just not talking!

Is anyone else going through this? I’m just lost at the moment and wanna help her the best i can.
