Baby boy was born on 3/2/18. He is pure joy. But I can’t get him to latch to save my life. He’s thriving on a bottle and I’m exclusively pumping currently as we are waiting to get him into a feeding clinic to evaluate his ‘disorganized suck/possible torticollis.’ Its disheartening to say the least. I’ve tried a nipple shield as I have flat nipples as well but all he does is screams and gets frustrated and gives up. Takes a bottle well and does ok with a pacifier. Anyone else having difficulties? There is so much conflicting advice I’m having a hard time navigating (our pediatrician and lactation consultant are contradicting each other). I’m trying to keep him trying to latch but it breaks my heart to see him get so frustrated.
