I was in a car wreck February 8th and messed up my ankle (tmi but it blew out of my skin and was dislocated), I had surgery the next day and was put in a cast. 3 weeks after my surgery they put me in an aircast boot. I've been having so much trouble getting comfortable and it's been hurting me. I've been wearing it for 3 weeks now. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Have you ever worn an aircast boot like this before? How did you deal with it? I go back to the dr April 2nd to see if my ankle is healing like it should & then can hopefully start therapy after that and hopefully start learning to walk again. It's been so stressful because I have a 16 month old daughter and I can't do the things I used to do with her. :(
