Hi ladies! I just wanted to announce my BFP! I haven’t told my husband yet, I’m still sitting in the bathroom. 😂😂 (It’s also 5 am and I was going to work out this am and he is still sleeping).

I’ve been having crazy symptoms including:

-My hair color didn’t turn out right Sunday. My hair stylist asked me if I was pregnant bc the only times his color hasn’t turned out right was when the person was preggo. 🙄 I thought this was the lamest excuse ever! I’ve been getting BFNs for days. How can my hormones be high enough to affect my hair but not show up on a test?

-My heart rate has been super elevated for the last week and a half. I normally beat on the higher side, around 70 bpm. For the last week it’s been in the 90’s (or above) and it’s hard to walk and talk at the same time. I even went to the ER last week because I thought I was having a stroke! My heart rate got up to 210 on a short walk and I had a taste of pennies in my mouth. The ER did indicate a mildly abnormal ekg, but they didn’t seem to think that mattered and let me go.

I am now 4 days past missed period and I have been testing every other day since 10 dpo. A friend who does OrangeTheory asked if I was pregnant because that was her first sign. She was in the “red zone” after four minutes, which is unusual for her. I have been testing using the easy@home every day since she told me this. Again, how can this be affecting my heart rate but I’m still testing negative?

I just “knew” I was pregnant but all tests, even first response gold, all bfn until this am. And I have been testing with FMU.

I have an easy@home ovulation kit that came with some hcg tests as well, and today is just the faintest of lines. I probably would have missed it if I didn’t also have the First Response.

I just wanted to post my experience because my symptoms were kind of crazy and I didn’t get a BFP until 4 days after missed period and 18 days dpo. I was sure I was out because so many women get bfps so early!

I didn’t temp, but used OPKs. This is my first month off birth control and our first month trying. I was on the Nuvaring and my Obgyn said I had a 5-10% higher chance of getting pregnant my first month off the Nuvaring. I’m also 31 years old and this is our first.
