Placenta calcification at 34 weeks 2 days, pre-eclampsia..help!

Charlotte

Went into the doctors yesterday for little to no movement with this pregnancy (my daughter was induced at 37 weeks due to low movement and extremely low fluid so I am always on edge). They check my AFI and it’s 13! GREAT! Babies got room. But then it took a turn for the worse, blood pressure is high, urine has 30 mg of protein, and the ultrasound showed my placenta already has calcification pockets. They do an NST and find that Baby is moving, but why I’m not feeling it is because I’m contracting every minute. So I get sent to L&D; to stop the contractions and to get the steroid shot and to draw blood. Well, my body did not take kindly to the contraction medicine Procardia. My heart starting beating at 200 bpm. I could feel my heart and that caused even more panick in me. Well, the contractions weren’t able to be stopped, but with no cervical change (soft cervix but still closed), I chose to go home.

Has anyone had these issues? Anyone had calsificafion at 34 weeks? I have to do a 24 hour urine collection for protein sample because they are throwing around the idea of preeclampsia which may have possibly even led to low fluid in my first child.

I’m just at a loss. I’m not sure why my babies don’t want to stay inside for very long (I will note my 37 weeks was 6lbs 11oz, so she was just fine!)

Looks like the goal is to get this one to 36 weeks at least but now I’m terrified and looking for similar stories.
