So my day was shitty.. I was looking forward to today, thinking I would be doing blood work to soon find out the gender of my baby. I went in thinking I'll have the NIPT test done. Only to find out I have to be 35 to receive that test (I was never told this) until day of my appointment. So they said I would be doing the first trimester scan. Which has zero to do with gender. I started to change my mind and just go home. But after talking to the nurse about the benefits of the test, I agreed. During the ultrasound I was told I measured bigger then they would like to do that type of scan. 🤦‍♀️So that was a waste. Then after it was over the doctor comes in and tells me they see some brain development abnormalities with my baby. And want to do more test. I was then sent to the lab for blood work and told I'll receive a call for my next appointment. Great! 😭 Now this is news I did not want to hear. Wishing I just took my ass back home. Anyone else had the doctor tell them that and their baby turned out just fine?? Would love to hear about it. Thanks.
