DO NOT accept being treated like shit. I was in my fair share of relationships before I met my husband, got cheated on, treated horribly, and dragged through the mud in nearly all of them. Finally I was done. When I met my husband I knew right away he was the one. He treats me so incredibly well I can’t even imagine it any other way. I am seriously disgusted with myself because of how I allowed myself to be treated. Do not settle for less than you deserve, sometimes you gotta kiss a lot of frogs before finding the one.

4. My husband was the 5th guy I ever seriously dated. He 1 of two that I wasn’t looking for. I think love happens when you least expect it and aren’t looking for it.

A lot. First boyfriend was in high school i was 13 he was 15 lasted 18 months before we broke up. Then met my eldest kids dad at 16 fell pregnant 6 months into relationship he was 22. He used to beat me and treated me like shit. Had another child to him and broke up when i was 21. Then decided to focus on school and kids and just date... did that for a year or two many hook ups and flings... then met my now husband we have 3 kids together plus my other 2. Been t9gether 4 yrs married 6 months

I have been in three serious relationship where I’ve actually been in love and #3 is my lucky number I guess. My boyfriend is an amazing person and he’s so good to me, we’re expecting our first child. But it’s really different for everyone! You’ll know when you find a good one.

2. we dated when I was 16-17 for around a year and a month. he was emotionally abusive and nobody had the decency to tell me that he was. it wasn't until I read an article I saw on Facebook that I put all the pieces together.
