hair up or down?

so i got my prom dress like a few weeks ago it’s like a brighter blue than in the picture (kinda), i don’t have a picture of the back but it doesn’t have any like fancy detail. should i do an updo or wear my hair down? every time i have got my hair curled or like half up half down it hasn’t turned out that’s why i’m hesitant and i need opinions!!

I think a really loose updo would look so pretty with that dress. Have some strands of hair out for a romantic look that doesn't seem stiff.

Up for sure! Half way through prom you'll hate having your hair down. Its hot. The curls start to fall. Trust me. Up is better. Lol.
