Can I use my regular BBT thermometer for temping vaginally?

Does it have to specifically say it’s for vaginal use? It was $25 off of amazon and is definitely a bbt thermometer.

I use a femometer bbt for vaginal temp. bluetooth syncs to my phone and it comes in a sort of case that looks like a lipstick or makeup so hubby and 3 year old don't mess with it. but they also know explicitly that its mommys special themometer and not to be touched.
