TTC, abnormal period

I recently ended my period. The length was normal but it was much lighter then usual and little to no cramping. I just started my ovulation window today, and I have been cramping like crazy the last few days especially in my lower back. I may have had a little spotting 2 days ago. My husband thinks I may be pregnant. I don't know how it works with me having had my period. I have PCOS, and recently have dropped a ton of weight. my periods are on time every month now for the first time in my life. they became normal about a year ago. Any one have an insights on this?
