Help! What should I do?

So recently i’ve been having issues with my baby’s dads mom (would be MIL if we were married but are not). She literally isn’t helping in anyway. Her son wanted a gender reveal so instead of helping, she made me and my family plan and pay for it, and now she’s basically doing the same with the baby shower. i’ve texted her and haven’t gotten any response. should i be upset? like are they supposed to help? i mean i figured it’d be nice they pay for something since my parents are literally buying us a house but idk i just need some opinions.
