Honestly, even though my epidural didn't work, I didn't feel myself tearing. The worst part was contractions and pressure from baby's head. You won't care about tearing at that point, you'll just want baby's head out. Lol

3rd degree. The pain was real. A month out now though and its getting a lot better, thank god for fridababy douchers!

I tore with both of my babies. Yay for big heads. But it wouldn't not have been so bad if I hadn't been sewed up way too tight after my first. I had stitches tear through because it was too tight. And that was the WORST. And I didn't get an epidural, so there is your comparison. The second time it was very little and healed quite fast. But I still feel the tension created in the skin from that first time. *shutters*

I didnt know I had a tare until I got home and looked down there to see why it hurt to pee and saw two grazes and an open wound between the labia minora and vagina. I’m a month in and it’s healing well so far without stitches. Freaked me out when I saw it though.

ya I didn't know I tore. and I got no pain meds, head wasn't even the worst part for me. my daughter was the wrong way... so my doctor had to turn her to help get her out. I thought I was gonna die 🙃
