Diaper bag colors/prints, do they matter?

I love the idea of a girly floral bag with this baby (the last one I had was gifted and hideous) but I'm having a boy and my mom said I should go with something more gender neutral. I kinda disagree; I'll be the one using it like an all in one purse so it should suit my style, right? But I see where she's coming from, nothing wrong with a neutral bag.

I use my biggest purse. It’s perfect for my two kids and me and I don’t feel lame carrying around a bag that has baby animals all over it.

My hubby and I always pick it out together because he has to carry it too. Diaper bags are like nursing covers, they are made for the parents, not baby. Get whatever you want, but if you have an SO I would get something you both want.

Ours is black with blue accents, and it comes with a wipe dispenser 😂😂

Pick what you like. you have to carryout not the baby! I chose a pink floral pattern before I knew gender.
