Do you guys wake up baby for feeding or just let them sleep until they wake?

I don’t wake the baby. If they show signs of hunger then I feed them but you don’t have to wake them for that. The first few months you’ll be a zombie because they eat every couple hours around the clock. That’s normal. Feed baby when they’re hungry👶🏼

I was told if baby is gaining weight and doesn’t have any problems, then no need to wake them to eat, let them sleep! 😊

Wake in the first two weeks to establish breastfeeding; otherwise let baby sleep.

It depends. If he needs a new diaper I'll wake him up and see if he's hungry which he usually is, but if he doesn't need a new diaper I'll let him sleep until I see him start to show signs he's ready to nurse.

Still waking him up until he gets to birth weight. He would sleep 4-6 hours if I let him and he's 9 days old! 😨

He eats anywhere between 2-3hrs. sometimes every 4 hrs if we get lucky (night time feedings).

Babies need to eat every 2-3 hours . It’s best to wake em up every 3 hours to eat . Otherwise it diminishes the milk due to not being a high demand etc . Some babies are sleepier than others . It’s really up to your pediatrician, what they believe . But any hospital will tell you babies gotta eat about every 3 hours (max wait time) . Baby food shouldn’t be introduced until 4-6 months , solids shouldn’t be introduced until 6 months . Good luck love !
