Latching advice needed...

So, I’m happy to say we are officially off the breast shield at 4 1/2 weeks! However, I need advice. My LO will latch and pull off quite a bit for up to the first 5 minutes we nurse. I have a fairly strong letdown so I’m not sure if that’s why, but that definitely doesn’t last 5 minutes. On the second side she usually latches immediately and stays there. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get her to latch quicker on the first side? It doesn’t seem like she’s having trouble latching, almost that she’s playing with the nipple. It really makes a mess sometimes! TIA!
