My son was born March 17th and i am breastfeeding him. He is now a week old and it seems like my production is not enough to get him full. he will empty 1 breast dose off to sleep for a quick moment and wake up to empty the other and dose again. Then about 5 minutes later he wakes screaming as if he never ate. i have had to supplement Enfamil when i have no more breast milk. I have talked to my dr,he said that my son had only lost 2% of his birth weight and he looks great. he suggested pumping while he is napping to stimulate more milk production. Just wanted to see if other mothers are having this issue and what advice u may have for me?
