If I got a positive opk today, when would I start counting DPO?

Yes. If your positive opk is today, ovulation is tomorrow and 1 dpo is the following day

You ovulate 12-48 hours after your first positive... so if you got a positive today, you should ovulate tomorrow, the next day would then be 1dpo

Oh ok. I was confused because I thought you ovulated the day after a positive. So wouldn’t that technically be ovulation day which would make the second day after a positive opk 1dpo? Am I complicating this? Lol
