children at scans

I'm pregnant with baby number 2. I'm 19 weeks and go for my 20 week scan this coming week. I am so anxious with this baby always worried there is something wrong. I have an anterior placenta so don't really feel much movement at all. I really want to take my 6 year old son with me to the scan so he can see it but I'm so anxious they will say something is wrong. has any one taken there kids to scan is it a good idea or to boring lol any help would be appreciated.
