Which spelling?

Pregnant with my 2nd girl (the first is an angel 👼🏼) and I like (Zo-E) but I know some people would see it spelled Zoe and say it like Joe or toe. I guess what I’m wondering is should I just risk having to correct people her entire life or take the easy way and dumb it down lol

I’ve literally never known anyone to pronounce Zoe like toe 🤔 I don’t think anyone will think that! Zoe is the original way to spell that name, Zoey is an alternative.

Zoe is my 7 year old daughter’s name! ❤️ I absolutely love it. It’s the traditional spelling and I’ve literally had one person ever pronounce it the way you’re talking about and that person was literally the stupidest person I’ve ever known. Don’t worry!

I’m pretty sure the vast majority of people know how to pronounce Zoe. But if you’re really that worried I’d spell it with a y.

Zoe would be fine and would eliminate the headache of typing the symbol over the “e” each time

There’s also Zooey if you’re interested in that spelling! I think any of the above spellings are acceptable and most people will know how to say her name. By the way, I love that name but my husband shot me down!
