Teething and refusing to nurse.

I am pretty sure my 16 week old is officially teething. He is VERY fussy, typically he’s a very easy going happy baby, he wakes often and can’t be comforted, and now he’s having issues nursing.

He pulls off my breast after 2-3 minutes and will start to cry or will immediately insert his thumb and start sucking. He’s eating every 2 hours but not too much but I can’t keep him on my breast he becomes too frustrated and wants to suck his hands instead.

Any insight?
