Feeling petty...

Elizabeth

I woke my husband up to give him the baby this morning at 5:15 so I could get ready for work. He was confused as to why I didn’t just put her back in the bassinet.

I went to bed at midnight after nursing her for over an hour. She woke up the minute I got out of the recliner and he was an ass about taking her and putting her back to sleep because he “still had things to do.” I offered to put her in bed with me, so he could get stuff done, but he refused. Then he woke me up at 2:20 to nurse her, even though there were extra bottles ready in the fridge. I had to change her, because a wet diaper didn’t occur to him. After that, I had to tell him that she was also upset because she needed Tylenol due to teething. By the time I had finished nursing her back to sleep for the second time since he woke me up, he had been asleep for almost three hours and I needed to get ready to leave for work. He knows I don’t want to co-sleep in the recliner, but is adamant that I should get out of bed to feed her.
