Opinions on prenatal vitamins?

I’ve tried to take my prenatals but they make me sick to my stomach and so I end up throwing them up anyway. I was wondering if there’s anybody who didn’t take prenatals and their baby was okay? I’m just a little nervous if I stop taking them all together.

Buy a folate/folic acid supplement; and take that. That is the crucial thing you need— the rest is just to replenish your stores when the baby steals them all.  Folate supplements are small and pretty innocuous.

I took mine for a month and then stopped. If you can’t take them, for your first trimester just take folic acid for spinal development. 
Maintain a decent diet if possible (I know I couldn’t eat anything) 
My friend just found out she’s pregnant and her doctor told her that prenatals are hooplah and to just take a multivitamin, specifically recommending the flinstones gummies. 😂

I use trader Joe's prenatals they aren't crazy expensive and they are an easy on the stomach formula.

I love them! I heard they are the same formula as rainbow light? I'm not sure though. I also heard you can take your prenatals at night for less sickness.

Try switching brands. Taking them at night. With food. There’s plenty of options. 
Also look at wholefood organic ones, rather than the man made synthetic versions. x

When I'm feeling really sick I switch to taking Flintstones vitamins with my last meal of the day. They have almost all of the same stuff as prenatals, but they're easier on my tummy. It's better than dropping the vitamins altogether if you can stomach them. My OB says to stop taking the vitamins if they're making your nausea too bad. It's more important that you can keep some food and water down, then just take them when you can.
