My boyfriend gets very chatty and runs the conversation a lot of the time so I try to add into it as best as I can. However, he doesn't pause for me to add to the conversation and by the time he's satisfied with the amount that he talked, the subject has changed and he doesn't want to talk anymore. I'm worried my boyfriend may never be interested in what I have to say and I've spoken to him about letting me talk too but it's still a very heavy problem. What do I do? How can I enforce the idea of a conversation happening between two people? Not just one person and a captive audience.
