I had my baby shortly after a membrane strip. I went in to see my Dr on the 16th @39 weeks and 3 days. I had been dilated 3cm since 38 weeks (as far as we knew) so my dr did a strip @1:40ish I started having full on contractions at the 4 o'clock hour, checked into the hospital at 5:45pm. My water broke shortly after arriving at the hospital. I recieved the epidural at 9cm!!! I was pushed my daughter out in 3 sweet pushes @8:58pm. My labor was short but it was very painful this go around because I have fibromyalgia. But I wouldn't change a thing.
