When to stop formula?

My sons 11 months old and is attached to his bottle for naps and usually doesn’t drink formula at all unless he’s tired (I know that’s a bad habit but we work with it)
I was wondering when babies do not need actual formula anymore throughout the day?
He eats pretty good and drinks water all the time, I jut feel like he’s too young still to stop the milk..?

It’s fine to stop all formula at 12 months. 
Some pediatricians recommend phasing in cows milk or a milk alternative at 11 months to get baby use to it (75% formula, 25% milk) and then gradually increase the milk until it’s all milk and no formula. 
Some moms choose not to do milk at all because they feel their babies diet alone is sufficient. Just be sure to talk to your pediatrician. 
My daughter is picky so I know she doesn’t get all the required fat for proper brain development from solids alone so we do whole milk and ripple milk.

My doc suggested whole milk or the enfamil formula for toddlers (the red can). We did the toddler one from 11-14months n just switched to whole milk. We could have kept on going with the formula but my husband wanted to switch so badly 😒
