Is it hypocritical to support #MarchForOurLives but NOT #BlackLivesMatter?
Black lives matter (or BLM) is an organization started by minorities that aims to hold law enforcement accountable for the unjust killings of unarmed minority men, women and children.

March for our lives is a recent movement created by victims of a high school shooting that aims to see gun laws reformed due to the prevalence of mass shootings.

BOTH organizations are centered around gun violence, BOTH organizations were started due to people who have been impacted by gun violence and BOTH organizations are attempting to give a voice to the often overlooked.
However, despite the similarities American media has perceived and portrayed both movements drastically differently. Do you think that it is hypocritical to support one movement but not the other?

Side note: I understand that at the end of the day, essentially we’re just fingers behind a phone screen but understand attached to those fingers is a person. A person with real feelings, a real story, real triggers, real obstacles & real challenges so if your opinion is particularly shitty please take a laxative and let it out in your prayer journal instead of subjecting innocent internet dwellers to your verbal jabs. We can agree to disagree without taking shots & undermining lives that have been lost due to gun violence, rather it was by a police officer or a mass shooter.
