Thankfully I finally hit my 37 week marker today and he still hasn’t come!

Monday morning I woke up with the worst cramping and back pain I have ever felt since being pregnant. I called into work just in case, and thankfully had a doctors appointment that day. When I got to my appointment my doctor went to check me and asked how I was feeling, I explained I’ve been cramping all day but I didn’t feel any contractions ( Never really have) My doctors eyes immediately got wide and she pulled her fingers out fast and said yup! He is trying to come! Some women only feel cramping when dilating and you for sure are doing so! I’m sending you to the hospital right now you are almost at a 4. I knew that was coming! She told me if I get there and they discharge me I’m on strict bed rest and no kind of physical or pelvic activity. She plans on him being here very soon. They’ve been giving me steroid shots at the hospital the past two days to get his lungs ready because I have a feeling he will be here this weekend! Everyday into my bed rest I get more achy and crampy. My inpatient little boy just can’t stay in any longer! Wish me luck everybody!! I dread thinking I have to leave my baby boy in the NICU while I go home after labor :(
