Is it okay to work ?

Im 6 weeks and 3 days I work in a fast food restaurant. I multitask from cash register to serving food 😩 I carry pots , wash dishes , mop. Can I throw trash ??? There pretty heavy 😒 I also stock up some drinks. It’s also my first pregnancy so I’m just wondering i want to be on the safe side.

yes. we are not invalids, just pregnant. try not to strain yourself ridiculously hard though like if your 20+ weeks and feeling like your really flexin your abs then id refrain from doing whatever your doing to cause that.

I think it is ok for now.  I'm 27 weeks, and I lift kids up to 50lbs for my job, and as of yet my dr has not put me on lift restrictions.  She said she probably will in my 3rd trimester though.

Yes. I worked on a food truck super hot and stuffy having to fill up the gas every morning and mop the floor and switch from making coffee to food and I worked all the way up to 38 weeks. You'll be fine. Unless your doctor gives you instructions not to lift anything to heavy or anything then you're good to go.

Totally fine! Unless your dr puts you on rest. You'll find as you get bigger people start doing things they think make you take it easier, like taking you off certain jobs or giving you chairs. Probs about 25 weeks when your belly is getting in the way and you get achy!

Yes! You are totally fine. I bartend and I do quite a bit of lifting, I just stopped lifting kegs because they are usually 160lbs. I also carry my kids around and they are 35 lbs and 25 lbs. don’t stress momma, baby will be just fine

Yes you are perfectly fine to work. You can let a boss know you are pregnant then have someone else take care of trash is it exceeds 50 pounds. But I was told you can do anything your body was already use to. I take care of a person who is wheelchair bound
