I believe it’s both. You feel love and the feeling of that love makes you want to commit to them. Without that feeling ever being there the commitment would never come. Although, the puppy love does go away and sometimes you don’t really feel the love but you know you love them and the feeling of love does randomly reappear especially when one is being randomly sweet to the other. Love and commitment are a team when it comes to a relationship.

I think its both. At first it’s all feelings but when you make a commitment you are saying that you are going to work hard to live your partner. Some days you need to choose to live them, choose to stay, choose to work on the problems.

love is a feeling which can get confused or over shadowed by other emations or feelings. you get commitments out of love. I can still love you and not want the commitment of being in your life or around you. its just like when a mother loves her child but knows she can't commit to taking care of that child so the child is given up for adoption out of love. so Yeah its a feeling
