CBD oil and birth control? Help?

I’ve been on a combined oral contraceptive for about 2 years. I have been looking into CBD oil to help with my anxiety. I took a CBD oil pill today at around 5p.m. I remembered during my research that it was uncertain if CBD had any effect on birth control. I’m a little worried now because it does seem to affect it in some way. I had sex with my boyfriend today, unprotected and took my birth control at 10p.m like I always do. Should I be worried about the CBD oil? Should I get a plan B tomorrow? Does anyone have any experience with CBD oil and birth control?

Hi there. Congrats on getting CBD! I use it too and have had my medical cannabis card since January to help my panic disorder. 
In my 3.5 months of using CBD and even some THC products I haven’t noticed any changes in my cycle or hormones whatsoever. My doctor said the same, there’s no proof it does or does not interact with the pill. Despite this, people have been smoking and using cannabis in all forms for decades. As far as I know, there hasn’t been incidents of pregnancy while taking the pill perfectly and using marijuana substances. I personally am not worried about it only because of that. 
I would still maybe talk to a doctor to confirm any other questions you have, but from my personal experience I haven’t noticed any changes in my cycle or hormones while using medical cannabis and the pill.
