Affordable travel destinations

Hi! Does anyone know of any affordable traveling destinations? Wanting to stay under $800 for two people so that probably rules out any place super crazy far away.

I live on the east coast of NC and I'm looking for a drivable destination! I've been looking into Delaware or North Beach Maryland but I feel like I'm overlooking so many other great places! (Trying to steer clear of SC,TN,VA, &WV; seeing as I've been to all those places many times)
