just trying to see how far along people waited to tell family about being pregnant is 6weeks to soon?

Immediate family (mom dad grandparents) we told a week or two after we found out, around 8 weeks. With a past loss we found out late about we wanted to wait until the 12 week first trimester screening to announce on social media.

Found out at 4, told parents and siblings at 8 once we had confirmed a healthy pregnancy with blood work and ultrasound. I think I’m going to tell some close family (grandparents, aunts, cousins) 9-10. No one else until 12. Eh. Maybe some friends around 10-11. It’s so hard to wait, but I’m so nervous of anything going wrong.

I miscarried in December last year so I was trying to see if we should tell the parents of our #2 baby yet or not. our first appointment isn't until April 16 so I was waiting for that but I want to tell them now because we are excited.

It’s up to you! 6 weeks is a bit early in my honest opinion. Holding out to tell family was the hardest thing I’ve done! We told them at 13 weeks, because we wanted to get past the “miscarriage mark” they say if you get past 12 weeks you’re good to go.  But just do what feels best to you!

I told my parents and in laws ASAP, told 1 friend, and didn’t tell anyone else until 11w+5 because I couldn’t wait 2 more day lol.
