Annoying in laws

Does anyone else’s inlaws act like their the parents to their grandchild whenever you go over for a visit?

I’m a SAHM so i know what my babies likes and what his cries are asking for, and so far everytime we’ve gone to my husbands dads house, him and his gf act like they know what he wants, which they don’t and they just make him cry harder and longer.

The last time we were there I told my husband that I’m never going over there again because I just can’t handle it. I see my baby crying and looking at me like “save me mommy”, but they just won’t give him to me. I’m too nice of a person. I need to just grab him away from them, but they’re ridiculous people so I don’t want to cause an argument. I can’t even stand the thought of him going over there.
