Long distance relationship

So my boyfriend went to another state to work and im sad as hell and it’s only been a couple hours since he left😂☹️. To make this worse is that he’s going to be gone for a year and he’s working 6 days a week so the plan for him to come visit on weekends is dead. I would like to visit him but he doesn’t want me to take the 5 hour drive by myself which is understandable because of a small accident I had recently. I just miss him so much already. I saw him everyday now we going months without seeing each other. I didn’t think it would be this hard. Can someone tell me how to ease my feelings? We already talk everyday.
