Depo shot NEED ADVICE

Okay so i started the depo shot March 23rd and i think the day after or two days after i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. My last period was march 13th should i be worried? When does it take effect and what are the side effects? I been feeling nauseous lately.. ps my first depo shot and my period is in 4 days
