Hi everyone! March was month 3 for my husband and I TTC. Leading up to my period I had taken a urine test nearly every day for a week, all with negative results. This past Saturday my period was 4 days late, I had experienced cramps for the full 4 days as if I had my period, but nothing. I also had headaches for 4 days prior to the cramps, which is not normal for me. I have never missed a period, so I decided to go see my family practitioner (no gyno was open) and have a blood test done in hopes of telling our families we were pregnant while everyone was together for Easter. A friend works at the hospital so I got my results almost instantly. NEGATIVE.

I accepted that we are not pregnant, and it'll happen when it's meant to and want to move on.. but today is day 8 of my missed period, and my husband is convinced that I tested too soon for even a blood test. He's taken to google and apparently there are lots of women this happens to who turn out to actually be pregnant, but all of the stories I'm reading are about 4+ years old. I want to wait a few more days before I take another urine test, and have scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN for the 10th, but I'm curious... has anyone else had a similar experience?

Aaaand I couldn't wait and took a test. I messed with the contrast and used the pregnancy test checker app. There's something there!

I cannot wait to retest in two days!! And this brings me back to question... Has anyone else had a negative blood test but a positive pregnancy test?
