Parents who used a pacifier, when did you wean?

Wean from the pacifier? My EBF baby started refusing her pacifier at 5 months and hasn’t had it since. Not sure why but she refused it on her own.

My baby stopped using it at 2.5-3 months on her own. That’s when she found her fingers! She’s 6mo now and I love that slew don’t have to worry about having one or bringing it with us, or even needing it to help her fall asleep. She puts her fingers in her mouth and puts herself to sleep

My baby stopped using it on her own. It probably happened around six months. It just became a toy to her instead of something she sucked on to pacify.

My oldest weaned himself off his at 18months my youngest tho just turned 3 and still has it at bedtime.. 😒 the pain of my life wish I tuck it off him sooner, as he sure kicks off when he doesn’t get his dummy when going to sleep.. 🙄

My son never wanted one but my daughter did but she weaned herself at 2 weeks old when she figured out her hands can go in her mouth

my 7 year old quit taking his at 9 months on his own. My 3 year old still has hers. I can’t get her to leave it to save my life!! My 2 month old uses one.

Some babies wean themselves. My son stopped taking his at like 5 months. He still had it & would play with it, but didn't use it.

My son weaned himself at 11 months, he threw it away one day and didn’t want it sense that day. Then my daughters hated them. Every child is different 🤷‍♀️😊

Son never liked one but if he had we would not have let him have one after 6 months.

We took the paci away at 19 months. We used it really only for teething comfort but she ended up almost choking on her last one so we decided to toss them.
