When You Talk In Your Sleep... 🙊

So, I occasionally talk in my sleep... I consistently have weird, vivid dreams, and sometimes reality and dreams intertwine unless I'm fully awake, or fully asleep. (Not uncommon, I'm sure...)

I had spent 24 hours straight awake because I have to sometimes adult during normal people hours, and work two third shifts (11p.m. - 830 a.m.) a week... So I had come home, already out of it, and crashed... Hard...

My S.O., Andy had to get up and work at 1 p.m., and was up by 11 a.m., and was sitting at the end of the bed. I apparently woke up slightly, because of his movement, but had not fully awake from dream mode.

I processed that he was sitting at the end of the bed in reality, but dream mode kicked in... (So this is ultimately what happened, from the discussion that we ultimately had about this...)

He was sitting at the end of the bed, I woke up enough, saw him, but in the residual dream, he was asking me what tattoo he should get next... He suddenly heard me say "mumblemumble penis on your forehead."

He suddenly flopped down next to me making me wake up a little bit more, and his eyes were wide, and he had this huge smile on his face, obviously trying not to laugh, and he asked "What did you just say?!"

He said I looked him dead in the eye, said "You should get a tattoo of a giant penis on your forehead... you know... 'cause you act like a big dick..." and giggled.

he started dying, laughing, and said "you sass me in your dreams too!!!"

to which I responded "you didn't say anything about tattoos... did you?" giggled again, and then two seconds later, I was snoring...

Although he had a lot of questions, he let me sleep, and asked me about it later... we were both dying laughing at the end of it all...
