Some people’s husbands 🙄

Let me preface this by saying I love my husband and he is USUALLY great about being a dad and etc. But sometimes he drives me CRAZY and I just needed to rant 🙄

I’m a sahm to a cute 9 month old. Today was one of those days where if I even put the baby down he would scream. Didn’t want to nap, threw up all over me and the couch, etc. And it’s fine-it was just really tiring, especially because I’m still getting over a sinus infection.

Anyway my husband came home from school-he’s in grad school-and I told him about the day and he was like “mhmm” staring at the tv. So I turned it off and tried to talk to him and then I was like whatever I’m going to do the laundry. So I put a load in the washer and came to sit on the couch and work on a gift for my friend who just had a baby. And my husband who has been laying on the floor looking at his phone goes “I thought you were going to clean?”

First off:

So I was like “I just need a minute. I haven’t had a minute all day”. And he goes “ugh but neither have I!”

I was like are you kidding.

What I WANTED to say was “K come back to me when one of your classmates sucks on your nipple for an hour, screams in your face while you’re trying to go to the bathroom, throws your lunch on the floor, and demands to be cuddled all day while somehow throwing things all over, oh and also throws up in your hair.”

What I said was “k but did you shower alone and go to the bathroom alone this morning cause I didn’t”

He kind of pouted and went back to “watching” the baby—aka laying next to him while playing on his phone-while the baby is crying 🙄🙄🙄

He is grumpy because he has tests coming up and has to study now instead of watching Netflix or whatever 😂 but I was like
