Anyone else having bottom irritation that comes and goes? It’s been nearly a month now for my LO. He’ll clear up and the. Get irritated. I give him naked time every day no matter what and every single playtime when he’s got red skin down there. If he poops and sit in it for even a few minutes the acid burns his bottom. It’s so sad and frustrating.

It started when I introduced solids. I’m only feeding store baby food labeled first foods and have tried different brands.

Doc prescribed an aquaphor compound but it only helps absorb acid, doesn’t fix existing rashes. I put max desitin on every time I change diaper. I change diapers multiple times between naps, pretty much as soon as it’s dirty and even as soon as it’s wet.

Mommy friends suggested no pears or apples because of acidity.

It’s so bad tonight that he cried when I put desitin on which he’s never done and now he’s crying off and on in his sleep but his diaper is clean every time I check. I feel awful but don’t know what to do!!

Any thing else anyone knows of??? 😥
