I knew we were going to a lake house but had expressed concern about too much outside time and sunburns from water reflecting light...hubby agreed. Then we get out there for easter and the whole family was like “let’s all go out!”

When I said I’d stay behind with baby everyone pretty much pressured me into getting over my surprise and all my concerns and doing it anyway. Wish my hubby and I had talked first and prepared for it! Would have been fun to look forward too once I did a little research and decided what time of day or how long etc. so I could feel comfortable about it!

Apparently my father in law cleaned the boat throughly and bought an infant life jacket and my MIL brought baby sunscreen....wish they’d thought to ask me if it was okay for Jefferson to go out! The momma bear in me felt so disrespected.

But...all the adults did have a good time and he looked so cute ... but ... he wasn’t too happy and was immediately gleeful as soon as we got back inside and he could roll around and crawl.
