Best time to get a prenatal massage?

Question

I am 27 weeks and can book it any time, but when is best? I’m so excited it’s 80 minutes at a really good spa in town! Is it better to wait until past 37 weeks so I’m relaxed and have something to look forward to that last long month? Or will I bee too big and uncomfortable by then?

I got mine at 29, almost 30 weeks. I think that was the PERFECT time! For me at least because it’s my second pregnancy and I felt like I was falling apart. I also went to the chiropractor a few days before that. Highly recommend 🙌🏼

I’d wait, say around 30-35 weeks. Once you get bigger EVERYTHING hurts especially your lower back. It’s so relaxing and the swelling should go down. I got mine but the day before I did I was on my hands and knees cleaning my kitchen floor so I was super sore and it felt amazing to get that massage

Anytime! Some places just make it mandatory for you to be out of your first trimester.

To my knowledge, any time after the first trimester is fine! I'm planning to get one at 27 weeks too (taking a quick weekend getaway with my husband). Can't wait! Enjoy your massage!! 😊
